  I could not be more positive about JD and First Savings Mortgage. My wife and I had an excellent experience working with JD on our recent home purchase in Spring of 2022. I was extremely impressed with JD's responsiveness throughout the process--when we needed an answer on a loan product, he got it for us quickly, no matter the time. I really liked JD's willingness to give his opinion on loan products, the DC-area housing market, and the macro-economy more broadly. He is extremely smart and passionate about his profession and will genuinely talk through the various pros and cons of different loan products to help you arrive at the best choice for your goals. Additionally, the First Savings loan comparison portal was very user friendly and helpful in comparing loan products. Goes without saying, but he got us the best rate possible as we were shopping with a few other competitors. Additionally, he connected us with an excellent home insurance broker who got us a significantly lower rate (and better coverage) than we would have gotten on our own. JD is the real deal. Particularly in a rising rate environment, he is the type of guy you need to have in your corner as you go to buy a home. Thank you JD.
