went over their just to get change wanted to break a hundred dollar. but denied cause I didn't have an account..

Just visited the Jefferson bank on Goliad Rd, was greeted when walking in. I then informed the teller that I wanted to withdraw money from savings account. The teller then asked me if i have a account with Jefferson bank, i then replied this is Jefferson Bank, why would i want to take funds out of my account, if i didnt have any accounts here. She then replied people think its a Bank of America.

As you are aware, our current location was a former Bank of America, and often times we have individuals who come in attempting to do transactions under those accounts not knowing that we are now operating business at this location. While our teller had no intention of offending you by asking if you were a customer, we can understand how this could have been interpreted. Our Banking Centers managers are aware of this situation and are taking additional measures to ensure an incident like this does not happen again.
