  2/15/22- Once again, this branch has given me the blues about checks with both myself and husband’s name and they REFUSED to deposit them. My husband was present with me with his ID. The branch manager did NOTHING but turn us away. I will say this…I will be looking for another bank because Jefferson Financial changes their policies daily. Post below was from another time I had issues Update: Problem resolved after the assistant manager followed up. Thank you. The tellers working need to explain to customers why something can’t be done and try to resolve it. They never said my spouse could come in with a valid id. Your customers keep you in business. Had to call customer service and go to a different location across the river to get a check deposited due to both my husband and myself name being on the check. He signed it over to me. FYI Jefferson Financial...NOT ALL MARRIED COUPLES HAVE JOINT ACCOUNTS!!!!Too much hassle. Absolute garbage staff and location. 0 stars!!!!!!

  For the security and protection of all persons involved with multi-party checks (married or otherwise): if the check is not being deposited into a joint account it is Jefferson Financials’ policy to require all payees of that check to be present with valid/current ID in order for that check to be negotiated.

  Can't get a card mailed out to access an account that has been receiving direct deposits for 4 months, terrible problem resolution for customers would not recommend.
