  We turned to JR when we had to sell our lovely home on Vashon, and we are glad we did. She was well-versed in the market trajectories and in the ever-changing laws that would affect the sale (e.g., the safety laws regarding water heaters which had changed since the purchase of the house), guiding us on what our responsibilities were and what improvements would affect the sale price. She negotiated a good deal for us and helped us find a buyer we felt would love the house as much as we did, which was important to us. She was able to suggest high-quality local workers, and they were all worthy of her recommendation. We even made a few new friends! Even though we knew she was incredibly busy, she made us feel as if she had all the time in the world for us, which made selling our beloved home less painful. We cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, JR!

  JR was incredible. She showed us every house we requested, paid attention to what we said, and from that, understood what we needed and really wanted. The result: we found the perfect house! She had intimate knowledge of local laws and issues peculiar to the area, such as where water drainage was an issue in the rainy season, and guided us accordingly, always taking time to explain anything we didn’t understand. She anticipated possible complications and had solutions available, saving our remodeling plans that were attached to the loan and recommending reliable and affordable local workers since we were new to Vashon. We can never thank JR enough for helping us realize our dream! We highly recommend her.

  My first experience with a real estate transaction was when my mom passed away and I had to handle the selling of mom's Seattle condo. I didn't know anything about the details of the real estate selling process AND it was also the first close-relation family death I had experienced and had to deal with practically. I dreaded the entire thing. The blizzard of practical details all mixed in with grieving while having to plow through all the detritus of my mother's long life seemed insurmountable and emotionally overwhelming. Thankfully, JR was able to turn the real estate part into fairly simple matter. Every practical issue and state requirement that arose in the process she was able to address and had lists of resources to pick from in getting help cleaning out and preparing the condo for sale. Turns out JR has quite a lot of experience working with attorneys and estate PRs and all the real estate aspects of estate administration which I hadn't known about. Of all the issues I had to cope with at that time, dealing with selling the condo became the least difficult because of JR’s experience and skill. Disclosure: JR is family-related.
