  I was with other insurance companies that only rate you by your credit. But my credit is not driving my truck i am Allstate rate you mostly by your driving. And it shows they pay you for your good driving and covers you more for less!!!! thank you Kelly Schmidt for taking care of my insurance needs. Thank you

  I’d obviously leave no stars if it was an option. This agency reached out to me unsolicited last May offering home owners insurance that was a better value than my current policy. They processed the new policy over the phone and advised that they would cancel my current policy for me and notify the bank to send escrow insurance funds to them. In July I was notified that they had not done anything they had stated. I spoke to them again and they promised to correct situation. They still didn’t and now I find a collection account on my credit report for the an “unpaid” Allstate policy that was never in effect. In speaking to the agent just now, I see why nothing was done. She clearly doesn’t have the skill set to operate this agency. She blamed me for not contacting her earlier. Avoid like the plague. Follow Up: I see that Ms Schmidt is staying true to form with her libelous response. I invite her to publicly post the non existent evidence of contacts she claims to have had. As for "threats" I advised that I had filed a claim with State Insurance regulators and would be posting reviews regarding this online. After reading her response, please ask yourself if there isn't a better choice for your insurance needs.

  Chris, we pride ourselves on giving exceptional customer service. However, any threats or aggressive behavior (as you showed early today) directed towards me and, more importantly, my staff will not be tolerated. My team works very hard to keep our clients happy; I think you can see that in many reviews below. Another great thing about our office is that we record all of our calls and take A LOT of notes. If a mistake was made, it is easy for us to review and correct what went wrong. In your situation, we found that multiple calls had been made to you regarding your policy’s status and that we needed the updated mortgage information. You received numerous calls before the policy was canceled and a call after the cancelation happened, giving you a heads up that we would need to rewrite the coverage. Maybe you were avoiding our calls....like the plague?
