      The pawnbrokers were nice people and just doing their jobs, but wow what a lazy and lame appraisal process. I brought in a very genuine heirloom halo opal ring with vvs diamonds and 24k gold. The original pawnbroker I worked with seemed like he wanted to work with me, but when he went to talk to his supervisor the supervisor didn’t even want to come look at the ring. He immediately just stated sell it him for scrap gold. Silly supervisor must not know the value of vvs diamonds as the diamonds alone are worth a few grand. I brought in a certificate of authenticity with me that had all the information regarding the grades of the opal/diamonds and whatnot, but the pawnbroker nor the supervisor even took a look at it. They had the audacity to offer $145 for $6,000 ring that was worn a handful of times.
