  My home contract fell through, but this title company was super easy to utilize to pumas and the. Get my returned earnest money. The staff was very professional and their building looks so nice!

  If I could give this place zero stars I would. Their customer service is horrendous, nobody ever answers, and they are horrible at coordinating anything in a timely manner. We closed on our house and had originally chosen to do a remote closing. When I emailed the front desk to ask when we would be receiving our documents the day before, I never received a response. The day of our closing, our realtor had to tell us that the title company messed something up and we had to change the time and had to do it in person instead. So we finally got our closing done and were supposed to receive our wire transfer the following day. Fast forward to the next day, my husband and I had been checking our bank account and still hadn’t received anything by 3:30. I made multiple calls to both the Crestview and Destin office and never heard anything back. So again, I had to have our realtor call to get in touch with someone and we did not receive our transfer on time. You would think with such a big transaction, they would take it a little more seriously and try to keep in contact with you about any sort of updates. The most unprofessional company I’ve ever worked with.

  I closed on the sale of two properties with Knight Barry Title Solutions in Crestview, FL. Both times they told me that there were title discrepancies on the properties. They were mistaken each time. I had to have another title company pull commitments on the properties to prove them wrong and to have their underwriters remove the exceptions from their title commitments. Had I not been familiar with title issues and been savvy enough to pull title myself, due to working in the mortgage industry for years, I would have had to go through probate with the first property and have a Quit Claim Deed signed needlessly by a relative that I no longer have contact with. I would have lost the buyers and both properties, and I would have lost close to $200k. It is most concerning to think that this has possibly and probably happened to others that may not be as savvy as I in title processes, and that due to the negligence of this title office others have most likely had to hire attorneys and lose the sale and/or purchase of properties. If I am the only one this has happened to, then it is seem a bit malice as to the fact that this happened to me twice as both properties were titled the same way. After the first closing’s alleged title issues were resolved, there should have been no qualms with the second closing. I decided to go with Knight Barry Title Solutions in Crestview, FL with the second closing as they already had all of my information, and I thought that closing the second property would close without a hitch since the properties were titled the same and all “exceptions” the commitment of the first property had been cleared. I was regrettably mistaken in my thinking that there would be no issues in the second closing. I should have closed with the title company that pulled clear commitments on both properties. Knight Barry Title Solutions in Crestview, FL has a lot to learn in their title practices and procedures and in their customer service. I will not ever recommended anyone closing with them.
