  Their banking services are OK. However, the mortgage application process is very painful for non US citizens. Their underwriter requires an extensive amount of documents for current H1B visa holder, which I've never seen before when I dealt with Chase and Third Federal. Basically if you're an H1B holder on your last year of you visa, while your visa is still valid, the underwriter still asking for your visa renewal confirmation from USCIS, otherwise your application is pending. Most companies won't renew the H1B visa that early. And after several months of pending application, it will be automatically denied and the rate I paid to lock is gone. They did help me submitted a new application but the rate has gone 0.5%, which is very close to my current mortgage rate and makes refi not money-saving anymore. I paid non-refundable $1000 up front of application fees, appraisal fees, and rate lock fees. If I didn't move forward with their new rates, the money will be gone. Why would a person with several years of work experiences, stable income, and a legal H1B status go through this hassle? Their HELOC process is also ridiculous. I would recommend anyone with H1B to stay away from their home lending products. Chase and Third Federal are much faster and friendly to H1B applicants.

  We used to love this bank, however we chose to move all of our business accounts to another institution. Bethany Gaut is unprofessional, incompetent and extremely rude.

  Product is good. Business is not. Horrible communication and zero sense of urgency. If you’re looking for a responsive loan officer that goes above and beyond and cares to be speedy this is NOT the place for you.
