  DO NOT BANK HERE! CROOKS!! I have been cashing checks from a very long time account holder at this bank for YEARS. All the sudden they want to charge a FEE because I don’t have an account to cash a check that my bank won’t accept. First it was 2 dollars to cash it, then 2.75. Zero consistency! Not to mention, they charge a fee for the check he writes also! RIDICULOUS! Not to mention, manager took almost 15 minutes just to cash the checks. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!

  Megan, We regret that you may have experienced inconsistencies in our practices when visiting Lead Bank. As a financial institution, there are many policies set in place that our Bankers are expected to follow. We provide a service by cashing checks for non-clients when the check is drawn off Lead Bank. We do assess a 1% check cashing fee for non-clients. Clients of Lead Bank may cash checks without a fee. If you have any trouble depositing checks drawn off Lead Bank at your own financial institution, our Bankers would be happy to verify the funds with your institution over the phone.
