I have had nothing but positive dealings since I began to come to Liberty Savings Bank - and particularly the Wildwood branch. The entire staff has been courteous and professional. I would like to thank Elizabeth for going above and beyond explaining options I had. Makes me want to move more of my accounts to Liberty Savings Bank.

I am disappointed with the fees they charge. I opened what I was told was a free, interest-bearing checking account with a minimum balance of only $.01. My intent was to gradually transfer additional funds into this account as I closed out some other accounts at other banks. Because of Covid, my plans went on hold last year so I did not use this account as quickly as anticipated but I kept it open as I knew eventually I would use it. I was preparing a large transfer into this account when I notice the balance was off. I found that they had been charging me $15 every month for NOT using the account. That really adds up quickly! Admittedly, I was not reviewing my monthly statement as I wasn’t using the account yet and didn't anticipate a balance change so that’s on me but, I never imagined I was being feed so heavily. As mentioned, I have accounts in multiple other banks. I have never been charged a dormancy fee before this in my life. Frankly, I don’t pay people to hold my money no matter how much it is, they pay me. I closed all my accounts and went to a bank that appreciates my business and agreed not to fee me if the account sets dormant for a while. FYI, there are plenty of them in town. Caveat emptor (Let the buyer beware)
