      I went there with an appointment with Vinny Basitha the owner. I get there and he’s not there. I learned he sold Liberty Tax the week before and didn’t let me know. I knew I should’ve left but I didn’t. A Vietnamese Lady (can’t remember her name because I’m still upset) did mine. They were going to charge me $600 but the manager came around and said let’s give a discount and charge $200. Mind you Vinny promised me and I have text messages because he has done my taxes for over 10 years of $99. They wouldn’t honor that. This lady was the worst. She said I would have to pay Federal $400 and State $400. I’ve never had to owe but State usually around $200. Something was off and I kept telling her that isn’t right. I have a child, I own a home, and I have a side business that I do. I told her this multiple times and that would balance out the Federal & State taxes. She wouldn’t add anything else to help and said it would cost more if she added my EBay business to my taxes or my mortgage interest. She gets an attitude and wouldn’t explain how she was filing my taxes. I was in there for 2 hours and at this point I’m so frustrated and tired I said just finish this. I get home I call someone who is licensed and told her my problem and she said call them to get a refund. That didn’t happen because they don’t do refunds. I had to get my taxes amended and repay to have my taxes redone. After filing correctly I only owe $170 to State, not a total of $800 for Federal or State like Liberty Tax told me and I’m getting a refund. They messed everything up. I beg anyone who reads this please don’t go there. They don’t file correctly and they overcharge to file your taxes. When you have that gut feeling you need to listen to it. It’s been mess. Being a single parent and having to pay twice to get your taxes done has hurt me financially.
