  Overall our experience with First Heritage was great. Lindsay Witt was extremely communicative, prompt, and efficient. I would certainly work with her again and recommend her to anyone. My husband and I have bought and sold 4 homes in 10 years, but it was the first time a company had an app we could use to complete all of our requests, which was great! It made it super easy to complete items on the go. Our only issues came when interacting with the processor that was assisting Lindsay. At times it wasn't quite clear what she needed or when it was needed by. I am sure the hectic atmosphere of dealing with COVID and new requirements, plus a crazy housing market, may have contributed, but I did take off a star for some of the hassle created by our interactions with this person. Otherwise, everything was smooth and I would recommend working with First Heritage.

  Lindsay and her team did a fantastic job with our recent home purchase. She was communicative whenever we had questions, which often came outside of normal business hours. She was available via phone and email and responded quickly every time. The entire transaction was handled digitally and the FHM loan portal was easy to use and navigate and had a secure messaging platform that was useful as well. We were moving to the area from out of town and she and her team made everything simple and straightforward. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home in the Charlottesville area.

  I can’t say enough about Lindsey Witt and Stephanie Lewis with First Heritage. These ladies are professional, organized, efficient and personable. They were always one step ahead of me throughout this process and made the sometime tedious work of obtaining a mortgage bearable! I applaud First Heritage Mortgage for making customer service a priority.
