      Dealing with loan depot has been the worst experience ever. We are first time homebuyers. The loan officer submitted the closing documents to the title company as if the loan was approved prior to the process being complete. Loan depot reached out to the builders instead of us via email to inform them that the loan was denied exactly one day before our closing, which was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Currently, they have been unresponsive in our efforts to resolve this issue. We have been forced to move into a hotel, lost our earnest money, and above all, they will not communicate with the builders either. ****DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY****

      This is not the best or easiest company to work with. Although their website is nice and easy to navigate, all updates are there so they are easy to miss. While going through the process, there is very little communication with this company and that leaves a lot to be desired. No updates, no information, no status checks. Nothing. The one bright spot and the only reason u am rating this as high as I am is Lisa Kongenske. She was the best person to work with. She was kind, courteous, professional and I believe she did her best. Lisa made the closing portion very easy to understand and get through saving my trust in this company.
