      WOULD NOT USE I have re-financed and obtained financing many times and this was the worst experience ever. My appraisal was originally supposed to cost $550 and after paying that I was informed it would cost another $415 if I wanted it done in time for the locked in rate to be retained. They required more and more documentation most of which was never been required in past financing. Would not use.

      We are sorry you had such a poor experience. We have reviewed your loan application and found that our documentation request met the basic standard guidelines for getting a mortgage loan. Our notes indicate that you informed our processing team that you did not wish to provide the requested documentation after our first request. As far as the appraisal cost, the standard fee is $550 but larger homes traditionally require a higher fee. Unfortunately, we don't know that until an appraiser accepts the order and provides a fee for your particular property. Again, sorry you had a poor experience. Hopefully, you will be able to find a lender that requires less documentation.
