  SEE UPDATES BELOW: They're still operating in the "Dark Ages". Unable to initiate a funds transfer from my Reverse Mortgage account to my bank account using an online request. Must email or FAX them a form. Then it take 5 business days to process the transfer. With all my other bank & savings accounts I can ACH overnight. In addition, when you call you must listen to 3:45 minutes of prerecorded BS before you can get to a live person. This happens when they call me and ask me to call back, but give me the 'main' number so I can listen to the BS again. If I could change to a different company I would in a minute. Unfortunately I didn't have a choice who'd manage my reverse mortgage when I got it. UPDATE 7/12/21: Just received email from Longbridge Financial titled: 'NEW: Signatureless Draws & Online Occupancy Certifications' so it appears they are beginning to improve their systems to allow their customers a more friction-less experience to move money. This is a good thing. UPDATE 6/28/2022: There system now allows draw requests to be submitted via their website, a big improvement.

  We were lied to and then ignored. They. Told us they would honor our tax deferment. Then they took $2500 of our money to pay taxes we did not owe and we are in able to get a refund for our $2500. there are children running this company. We have the emails and are suing these incompetent people.

  If you are within their ridged parameters perhaps the process works. If you live in a rural area not so much. They are happy to take your appraisal fees upfront knowing that your application is not likely to complete the process.

  Hi Roger, we regret to hear that your property did not meet FHA guidelines. Unfortunately, the appraisal fee is a third-party expense that is charged by the Appraisal Management Company. We recognize your frustration, but as a lender, are required to adhere to all guidelines set by FHA. If we could be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to call us.
