  Very poor quality and craftsmanship. I had 2 different home inspectors AND 2 different General Contractors walk through and point out MANY issues and concerns. They made comments like "They obviously rushed and cut many corners." And "In a normal housing market they would never get away with this!" Getting them to come out to fix things has been very difficult and much of it they flat out refused to address. I have also talked to other neighbors who have had similar difficult and unhappy experiences. It is obvious they have no pride in what they build nor do they care about the homeowners who will eventually live in the units.

  Our experience with Hayden homes was not a very good one. The houses are nice with quality construction and reasonable prices for a new house in this economic climate. As knowledge in construction I consider Hayden homes as one of the better built houses. Our dealings with the Hayden homes selling agents was a different story. We had first stopped in at Lost River at the end of March 2022 to see when they where going to allow people to pick lots in another upcoming community. They told us in about a month. So we gave them our contact information so they would call us as soon as the lots opened. They never contacted us. We had our Realtor stop in with us in beginning of May to ask questions and come to find out they had already reserved lots in the upcoming community and there was only a few left. Luckily they still had a lot we were ok with so we reserved that and told them what Floorplan we wanted. They said ok and we sent them our pre-approval to reserve the lot. They told us they would contact us in mid May to pick details. We did not hear from them so our agent contacted them and got a meeting set up. We get to the meeting in late May and they told us the Floorplan was not available to put on the lot because there where already to many houses in the neighborhood with that Floorplan and it would cause a code issue with the city about to many look alike houses. So we either had to pick another floor plan or add a $55,000 RV garage. Well, non of the other floor plans would work for our family and adding the RV garage put us way over budget. Not only that but they had raised the price of the house from when we last spoke. Not that they actually gave us anything in concrete writing because they did not want to do that when we asked. Unfortunately we trusted what the agents where telling us about pricing and other details and of course we should not have. So, if you work with Hayden homes get as much as you can in writing with signatures if you can and do not count on thier words. This was our experience.
