  First bank to actually give me a chance with a credit card and personal loan. They are also so helpful when I go and very polite. I recommend them over any bank or credit union. I mainly deal with the Gramercy location and I'm always helped by Ms Liz there she is awesome, but I've dealt with Laplace location for my credit card and personal loan and I believe it was Kathy that helped me with that process and she was a sweetheart and a pleasure to do those transactions with. I've dealt with another person when I needed an auto loan can't remember his name but he was was very know on what I needed to do. Like I said wonderful people there. I go to them before thinking about getting a loan anywhere else. They will be the ones I go to when me and my boyfriend buy our first house together next year.

  Pros- good interest rates (but not worth the cons) Cons- Mobile app is very outdated. The steps to access your account are very complicated and outdated. I have never had any collections service to try get so personal and judgmental. Asking questions like “why did you miss your payment?” Very unprofessional and personal, my own mortgage company doesn’t even ask questions like that.

  After a long thought out issue with Louisiana Credit Union I’ve decided that I’m moving on. I went into the Hammond location and filed a dispute about a purchased I made through PayPal. The rep. @ the hammond location was extremely helpful; she put in the dispute. Well I received a phone called from one of the branches in Laplace, Dispute specialist Leah. And she told me that I had to go through PayPal to get a returned. Well I immediately hung up the phone and contacted PayPal; they walked me through the steps to file a dispute with them. A couple of weeks later PayPal emails me about a letter they received from LCU, stating they will not be able to follow through with my dispute. So I then contacted LCU (Ms. Leah) and explaining the email. She was very ugly with this slightly aggressive temperament saying she didn’t tell me that. Talking to me as if I was a child- unprofessionally unacceptable. Well if she didn’t tell me to follow those steps I wouldn’t have wasted my time on hold with PayPal for more than hour. Then she told me she’ll get back with me and I have yet to hear from her. I went to the branch in Norco and the rep. was nice enough to follow up and find out information so I can put my concern at easy. So I’ve decided they can keep the $100. I’m moving on.
