  I had quite the enjoyable experience. He is a very fair and knowledgeable man. We made a trade but I returned home with a piece of jewelry that did not exactly fit who I gifted it to. I immediately returned to the pawn shop with the ring and he helped me find another. He also said if that did not work to come back and we would find something that would. You do not find this to be the case with most businesses. He went above and beyond to make sure we were both happy and I look forward to our future transactions.

  To be fair, here is the good and bad. Good: The place is clean, the person running it seemed to be clean cut, well mannered. He was friendly enough. Large selection of old retro games, which was why I was there. The overflow bin of games is reasonable in price, but you will not find any hidden treasures in it, most of it is bulk or sports titles. I did find a couple titles I picked up that were just under ebay pricing, but we are talking a couple bucks on $6.50 games. Bad: While I understand people have to make a living, and if he is able to sell his retro games for the pricing he has, then more power to him. He does not price the more popular games in his glass case, and does market pricing. Not sure what he references, but the price he provided for a game out of the case was a few dollars MORE than the cheapest buy it now price on ebay for the same complete in box game with manual. So not really any good deal here. The games on the shelves that are marked, are about the same as ebay pricing, +/- a dollar or two. Overall, I dont think I will be back. Not because I had an unpleasant experience, but because I wasnt wowed by his pricing. If you are bored and want to get out and about and look at retro games, and are passing by, then maybe I would look. But I would not run to this shop expecting to find good deals on games or hidden jems that are underpriced.

You are correct, no hidden underpriced gems here and lots of common titles readily available. We will gladly research trending values with a customer on any available in store title - simply ask. Condition is subjective and the market shifts +/-. We cater to players and collectors that are willing to spend their hard earned cash with a locally owned establishment. We offer coupon codes, shopping incentives and highly collectible inventory alerts for regulars. According to a #shopsmall study - for every $1 spent at small businesses = .67 cents stays in the community. Simply stated, we offer a convenience if hunting locally. Conveniences usually incur a fee, hence our pricing model. We are the reseller and resellers need not apply. You want to play it today, come scoop it up. Or potentially save some bucks, shop online marketplaces and wait for your cart. It’s your hard earned money. 🚀

  🎮VIDEO GAME COLLECTORS. THIS REVIEW IS FOR Y'ALL🎮 Was there a few days ago. They definitely had a good selection of video games which I gave 2 stars. However, they're the type of Pawn shop that don't have majority of their stuff labeled and check the value real time and sell it for market value. I'm not saying they should lower it tremendously, but you go to pawn shops to find deals. Not market value price. Tried to see if they'll go lower, but they'll only budge $5 that the price they offered. You might as well go to half price books/game xchange to find better gaming deals.

  Thanks for the review. 🕹TL/DR We are a business that realizes profit in order to maintain our overhead and earn a living. 🕹 Clarification for future game collectors/players - pawnshops are retail locations (brick and mortar) that do offer discounts on merchandise. As a locally owned and operated storefront, we follow trending video game pricing. We offer a decent selection of vintage gaming consoles/carts/accessories. Blanket pricing of common carts $2, $6.50 and $10. Highly desirable/collectible titles follow market trends. Similar to your private collection - when the market is up.. so is your collection value. Down.. it follows suit. Why should our store pricing differ? Stickers/label? We work hard to remove these for our customers. We offer to demo each console/game in store prior to purchase. How about cart authenticity? We will open the cart for you to verify an authentic board prior to your collectible cart purchase. If you’re looking for gems priced at yard sale, estate sale, local meetups, etc. then stick to those offerings. We appreciate all of our local support, out of town visitors and regular customers.
