  UPDATE 1-14-22 **Unfortunately I have to update my review on this business. After banking here for over 3 years today I closed my account. Over the period of the last few years I have had to replace my debit card a total of 6 times, one of them I replaced because the chip was not working another my puppy chewed up and the rest I’ve misplaced or lost however I have never had any fraudulent or disputed charges. The process of replacing a card at this bank is not the easiest to say the least, while many banks have the ability to print you a replacement card on site it takes 10-12 business days to get your replacement (sometimes longer). Although the process was frustrating I still wanted to bank locally vs a major bank however this last time I lost my card (this time it was actually stolen, deactivated before any fraudulent charges, thankfully) I was told that I would not be able to receive another debit card, at all! There has been no issues with my bank account over the years, they said it was policy not to issue replacement cards what so ever after multiple replacements. Fortunately there are MANY great banking options around Des Moines that are more conveniently located, can print debit cards easily without delay, and do not have ARBITRARY rules like not allowing customers access to debit cards to access their money. (I chose Des Moines Metro Credit Union) People are nice here (until they aren’t) but if you plan on banking there for many years beware if you are someone who has misplaced a few debit cards in your life you might be SOL! Bank local!!! What an awesome and kind staff truly focused on customer service!! Worth a short drive down Hickman!

  Service is second to none, and when you couple that with so much focus on customer service, and they treat you like family, why bank anywhere else? The staff is wonderful, and our experience here has been nothing short of amazing. My wife and I have been customers for almost 8 years now, and I look forward to the next 8 years.
