      Deserving of an Award! For the worst bank and branch in the history of financial service. I opened a checking account with the referral of a close friend late in 2016. M&T closed my account without notice regarding an issue they supposedly corrected. Just went to cash my payroll check at the drive-thru window, they made me come in. OK, no problem. They cashed the check and counted out the money in front of me and it was 16 dollars short. To which the teller then said there was a check cashing fee, After the fact. I felt robbed. This bank is atrocious, I would steer clear of this place and deposit your funds elsewhere. They are two-faced and underhanded in their banking dealings.
