      Went into this branch to close my account after 17 years as a member (Wilmington Trust before buyout) due to customer service issues I had recently encountered. When I entered I told the teller at the front of my intention and she directed me to an employee sitting at a desk. I explained to her I wanted to close my account and took the necessary steps to do so. After I everything was completed and I was told to have a nice day, I asked the woman for her name (she at no point had introduced herself) and informed Tara that I had found it interesting that at no point and time har she introduced herself or asked after 17 years why I was closing my account. The irony of the situation was the fact I was leaving for this very reason (lack of customer support/being treated like a #). and further confirmed my reasoning for leaving. I'd stay far away from M&T and if you decide to try that out, stay away from this branch. The lack of customer service and interest in you as a customer is indicative of who've they've become. There are too many community/customer service friendly banks in the area to trust your money with M&T
