  I went into Macatawa Bank at 1575 Kalamazoo Street in Gaines Township to turn in some rolled quarters and because I am not a customer they refuse to take my quarters. They were the closest bank I stopped in because they were right here it was convenient and they won't exchange my quarters for cash. I wouldn't bank with these people if they were the last bank on Earth talk about socially retarded and no customer service

  Absolute horrible bank. If you do not look into your bank account Dailey, they allow anyone to get into it and start taking money. And even if it seems fraudulent they do nothing to stop it. They would rather see it rack up the debt than help the customer by saying there is something suspicious going on.

  Where are married couple with great credit and chose to refinance with Macatawa. Within one month they sold our mortgage to a subpar predatory loan service which is geared toward late fees and fines. Unbelievable that a bank that we want to stay local with sold our loan to a company called CMC. We were not notified they would do this and are certainly not pleased and forced us to refinance again to get away from this predatory lender. Buyer beware they will sell your mortgage as they said we sell 90% a disclosure would have been nice for this they get a poor rating. Although the people are very polite and helpful they will sell your loan

  Some of our mortgage loans are sold to Freddie Mac in order to provide our borrowers with longer term financing with lower interest rates. When selling loans through Freddie Mac, we do not have the ability to select to whom they are sold. During the loan process we do disclose that some loans may be sold.
