  Considering a "reverse mortgage" (House Equity Conversion Mortgage , HECM) is confusing and a little scary. And not clearly the best choice when you have a good amount of equity in your home, do not want to sell right now, but your limited income worries you. Do you want to stay in the house forever? You don't know. You need good, reliable information. Call Maggie McConnell at The Federal Savings Bank. Initially, I contacted two of the big lenders that advertise widely. I found that because I didn't know what I didn't know, they were not going to volunteer information. By contrast, Ms. McConnell provided an educational workshop that addressed my concerns, answered them well. She did not rely on my ignorance (as I suspected the big national lenders did) to secure my commitment. She was clear about the pros and cons. I commend Ms. McConnell and The Federal Savings Bank without hesitation. She will not do a "hard sell" and will support you through the process.

Sparks, NV 04/20/2016 Maggie took the rough edges off the HECM From the first day we met Maggie until closing, she was always available by phone or email and usually the had answers to our questions regarding the loan process or how the HECM works. We appreciated her knowledge of the process and immediate availability. We would highly recommend Maggie to others.
