  Very unprofessional and seemingly out to get as much in application fees as they can. I can't speak for those looking to purchase real estate, but for potential renters, BEWARE! My fiance went to an open house for a condo in Huntington Beach and met with John Miller, who talked the place up, related to how we were relocating, and, based off my boyfriend's work situation, said he thought we had a good chance and should apply. Over the course of the next week, he got harder to get a hold of and started seeming to dodge contact with us until he just stopped responding completely. He told my boyfriend to send documents to one of his collegues who completely ghosted us - never said one word to say she got what we sent her, nothing. He also sent us two separate application links, only for us to find out in the end that we should have waited for one to finish so the other would get a link to apply together, which judging by their communication skills with us, I'm sure us applying separately probably affected our chances. We applied on Saturday after the open house, and was finally told Wednesday, after bring told it should take 2-3 days to decide, that the owner would make a decision Friday. Friday rolls around and we wait until later afternoon to make contact, and are totally ignored and ghosted by John and everyone else we try to contact. I even tried sending one last email, and was entirely ignored. The property at this point has been reposted on Zillow and their own site, so they can start collecting even more in application fees. I'm not mad because we didn't get accepted, I am mad that this company doesn't have the professionalism and deceny to just tell someone "I'm sorry, your application was denied". It is that simple.

  I had an excellent first experience as an investor with Marshall Reddick. Everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and gave me the comfort level I needed to commit funds to this sort of investment. I look forward to making more loans with them.
