Words can't express how awful this company is!!! If you have the misfortune of needing a car, please bypass Automax in Fort Worth because this is the company that you will be stuck having to deal with. The staff at the Camp Bowie office is beyond rude , unprofessional and disrespectful!! Despite having the ability and desire to make payment on an agreed upon extension, they will still take your vehicle. It appears that they are more concerned with repossession of a vehicle, and adding additional upfront charges to your loan. They will give you all kind of reasons why you can't get your vehicle back which means an additional regular biweekly payment is added to the additional month's payment that has already been charged to your account. With this company, there is no such thing as a grace period, although the contract implies there is. Again, make sure you ask who the finance company is when shopping for a vehicle. If the response is Maximum Finance, please keep looking. There is a reason this place is rated with one star. Please also use your resources available. Have an attorney review any contract when possible even if it's after the fact, also file a complaint with the local Better Business Bureau of Dallas so at least there are more complaints on record in addition to any reviews!! Too much to unpack in this space, but please don't become a victim to the business practices of this finance company! You do have options no matter how desperate your situation may seem!!!

What's the deal with these people? I bought a travel trailer. Did not have a very good experience with that. At financing I asked for a copy of all paperwork. I didn't get it. I called several times to get it and they said they would email it. Have not done so after several attempts. Not sure what I owe how much is left, anything. I will not do business with them again if I can avoid it. They feel like a payday loan operation.
