  As a first time home buyer this bank specifically Daniela Gonzalez made our experience horrible. The only reason we applied with their mortgage was their good interest rates and recommendations from family members. But our loan officer made our experience the worst. We needed to turn in papers and no one had notified us, when we finally found a home the builder needed specific documents and she took forever to get them back to us. After we told her we were on a time crunch and if we didn't have those papers we would loose our deposit. She was never available when we needed her, towards the end we got so frustrated we decided to cancel everything and she did not care. Showed not empathy and horrible customer service. No matter how low the interest rates beware of this bank!!!! I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

  These comments only apply to the acquisition/transition of gulf states cu to mccoy (my checking/savings is/was with gulf states). I have been waiting 2 days for someone fr mccoy to call me back to answer a very simple question. I'm 39th in line on this call... Mccoy's confusing written instructions say the only change to my account # is that '990' was added to the gulf states account number; however, this doesn't differentiate between my checking and savings account. help!
