  My husband and I purchased a home using Boomerang Title, by way of McDonnell and Associates PA. Shortly after moving in we received a check, federally expressed from the title company. On or about May 3 we deposited the check into my account. It was cashed by May 5. On May 9th. I checked my account and it was overdrawn. When I contacted the office, Amanda, matter of factly says, we thought we owed you but when we got the "final" paperwork we saw that we do not, so we stopped payment on the check. Without contacting my husband and I. I asked why would you federally express a check to us without having the closing paperwork (that seems necessary to me.) She had no response and no apology. The office(Amanda) says an email was sent, that we never received (we both checked). This was inappropriate from any business. If you are going to stop payment on a check that was already cashed, I think that warrants enough consideration and courtesy for your customers to make a phone call or at least send notice by mail. My husband and I purchased a $400,000 house and was not respected enough to make a phone call. As a result all items that was paid from the transaction accrued charges. I would not expect this from a 1-star company let alone a 5-star. I tried calling, no one picks up and email, no response. Beware of this company, also you have the wrong number listed on your Boomerang web page. Our lives matter too! (Less)
