      I have always received good service here, and found the tellers to be very helpful, polite, and professional. They have even gone out of their way to help me with refinancing my home. Totally top notch in my opinion.

      Whenever I call, the representatives are not very friendly. That is one thing. Nobody wants to do business with unfriendly service. Another issue is with the ATM. Yes, ATMs are plenty to find around but the problem is NONE will take deposits! On the list of available ATMs on the Meijer app, only two ATMs are listed as being available to accept cash deposits. I tried both and both locations declined my deposits! The atm returns the money to me and prints out a receipt that it’s been declined. I do not live anywhere close to a Meijer branch, so being able to deposit cash into my account is extremely important to me. I will have to become a member of another credit union just to be able to deposit money into my account. Meijer credit union needs to be more user friendly and convenient for those of us who do not live near a branch. Or at least open up more branches.

      Applied for a mortgage here as was offered a shady “balloon payment” mortgage. Another credit union approved us for a prime rate conventional mortgage.
