Scam! Trying to take peoples money for debts that have been settles and paid. Will not provide me with written documentation of this so called debt. That is required by law for them to do.

Received a phone call from this company. They are saying that I owe capital one so much money but they’re willing to settle for pennies on the dollar. I asked the agent when was this account open she said August 2013. I also asked please provide me a copy of the agreement that which I have sign my name to.The excuse they gave to me was they did not have that documentation. They were going to garnish my wages. Call capital one which by the way I have a capital one visa and MasterCard capital one does not have any record of me have an account with them in 2013. This company is a scam protect yourself do not give them any information . So today 11/08/2021 this called again saying I owe for a Mastercard bill 4,000 but will settle for 300. I told them I would pay it if I document the lady sent me email, told I would pay on credit card. So told me that they couldn’t take a credit card that it would have to be a pre paid or bank debit card. What scam
