This may seem minuscule and not a big deal for some people, but when your’e working in centralized banking I believe it’s actually quite a significant issue. The FSR I shadowed in the Chesbro branch had no clue what stable coins were…. I would also be doing myself an injustice for not letting you all become aware of how they feel about decentralized finance from a community outreach perspective. When I was shadowing a financial literacy course, the instructor of the session had stated “Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme”. Although I got a slight hint of her joking, I found the statement to be misinformed and quite frankly nonsensical. I mean there’s a variety of reasons BTC Is growing faster than the internet in terms of adoption and usage, but I’m only limited to so many characters within a post. They are promoting a simple 2.25% Annual APY for a premiere savings account which is fine don’t get me wrong, but if you are smart, you will download binance and stake BNB for 6% APY and compound/restake the rewards weekly for greater returns. Likewise you can stake Tether, (the most reputable stable coin) for up to 12% APY annually. You’re welcome.
