  Grow your wealth! Merrill lynch has consistently provided outstanding investment guidance, advice and support. My long term results have been above average returns, along with ZERO loss of principal and low fees. Rolling over your 401K into a IRA is easy, quick and simple. Due to their knowledge and experience, my Merrill Edge Advisory Account has out-performed my other investments. Their Financial Advisors are intelligent, professional, patient, ethical, well-educated and well-trained people with excellent communication skills. Transparency is very important. They have never tried to sell me on a particular investment product. Our discussions typically cover the current market, my goals, my comfort level regarding risk, and multiple options. They also include the historical and probable future performance of each product we discuss. Speaking with an Advisor by phone is actually a pleasure instead of a chore. (I always learn something new!). Merrill Lynch also offers extensive online options which are informative and user-friendly. You can speak to an Advisor by phone from 8:00am to 10:00pm ET Monday through Friday. An automated phone system and online access to your account is available 24 hours a day. Or if you prefer, you can choose an individual Advisor you like to work with. I have dealt with Scott Baron for years. I have complete faith that my financial future is safe in Scott's hands.   This office lost $38,001.64 that was sent to them by my credit union and designated for my Roth IRA account. After over 2 months, Merrill finally agreed to send a letter to my credit union indicating that they would not cash the check so that a stop payment could be issued. The highest levels of Merrill Lynch, although they finally wrote the necessary letter, did not satisfactorily resolve this issue in light of the time, aggravation, and loss of return on investment that resulted. Had I been late on a payment to them, I am certain that they would have slapped a penalty on me, but they have shown no remorse for their error.

  I just opened an account, and I have been unable to get through to customer service. Their app doesn't let you send questions through chat or email, and it's a very glitchy app. No one answers the phone. I was trying to switch from Schwab, but now I realize Schwab isn't nearly as bad as Merrill Edge. I would not recommend them to anyone.
