  Nothing could have been done better. Everything on there end was handled with perfection and David went above and beyond in all aspects to assure our home buying process was as smooth and they could provide.

  This review is a long overdue, had dealt with Sean buying another house but this house was a disaster. Apparently he doesn't know anything about buying a Villa with a VA mortgage. 4 days before closing we found out we weren't going to get the mortgage through no fault of our own. We had to scramble to find a place to live. And then they dropped us like a hot potato, so cold-hearted, we were devastated, had to be the most stressful time in our lives. Thankfully we are in our dream house now & had a great lender.

  Paula, With being in business for over 2 decades, we understand the frustration that can come with the mortgage process and appreciate the chance to address your concerns and explain why the issues with your loan were out of our control. As a point of clarification, the issue was not that the property is a villa, but that it is in a leasehold. As a VA approved lender, we are aware that leasehold properties are eligible for VA financing but also know that this type of property requires VA approval. After being informed that the property was in a leasehold, we reached out to the homeowner’s association to request required documentation for VA approval. It took over 30 days for the association to send us the documentation, and once we submitted that documentation to the VA, they were unable to approve the leasehold. I sympathize with your frustrations, because it is frustrating to us as well that we had to wait so long for the documentation that we ended up having to cancel the loan at the eleventh hour. If we had received the documentation sooner we could have let you know with ample time before closing so that you could have moved onto the next property without the time crunch. Please understand that we did not intend to cause any frustration, and we did everything in our power to get the property approved for the loan in question, but ultimately that was not possible. Regardless, we wish you the best going forward.
