      Monarch Title processed a final settlement statement with the signature page from a previous version I signed and notarized. In that final version, it added a line item for expenses without my knowledge or consent and processed it without my approval. That's not an appropriate business practice and, to date, Monarch Title has refused to address this issue. Its slogan is "Integrity, Trust, Commitment," but if you're truly looking for these qualities, find a different firm.

      I have done refis here several times. The staff is friendly and helpful. They used to be on the 1st floor but are now located on the 4th floor in this building. There are dedicated parking spots specifically for Monarch clients. Go in the door facing the parking area and take the elevator. The building is pretty easy to get to, just a little over a block from Dolley Madison Blvd. It pays to check over the papers when you are signing, as I found an error on one page, which was quickly fixed. They practice masking and social distancing, so I felt pretty safe.
