  It was very easy to work with Mike. He was responsive to our needs and went to bat for us when we encountered challenges in the process of obtaining our mortgage. We certainly will want to work with him again if we decide to do a refi at some point, and we give him our highest recommendation.

  My wife and I recently finished the process of buying our first home. We first reached out to Mike at Mortgage Avenue a few months before we started looking to buy, and he was extremely helpful in answering our initial questions to make sure we understood the process and all the considerations we would need to make before committing to a home search. Three months later we reached back out and got started. Mike helped us every step of the way from pre-approval to closing and was excellent at communicating what information he needed from us, when our deadlines were, and how the state of our loan was looking. He was also able to help us switch providers before closing to lock in a better rate. At our closing date, Mike even brought us a personalized gift bag with housewarming gifts which was a great way to cap off our experience with him.
