  Really enjoy my years banking with MCB. For the most part they took good care of us I know my parents were here since I was a little kid till they passed away. We tried and tried but MCB could not take care of our growing needs towards the end so we left but would go back anytime if checking and savings is all I needed

  This bank has been a horrible experience for my fiancé and I. We also have heard from family members, neighbors and friends that we are not alone in how we feel about mound city bank. They are rude and condescending toward us and every time we ask for assistance we are told they don’t know or can’t help us until I continue to ask questions and pretty much make them do their Job. When we opened my fiancé’s account he opted in for their oops program. They froze his card when he went negative even though he always brought it back up to a positive balance and technically they made money off him going over, as he paid the fees. Today he called to ask to unfreeze his oops and he was told no even after he explained our situation with the current crisis going on. The lady was cold to him no compassion whatsoever. He gets his checks direct deposited and is currently waiting on tax return that is directly deposited as well. I feel they are profiling him as he has a Mohawk and piercings etc... when you opt into the oops program isn’t being able to go over 200$ what everyone uses this service got? Why is he singled out? Also they lost 400$ of his money when they locked his card on him ( when they initially froze the oops program on him) when he used the people pay to send money and have our friend withdrawal the cash for us during non business hours!! It took over 10 days for this mistake to be fixed and never an apology and originally the teller had said, “ she didn’t know what to tell us”!! 400$ missing in translation and they don’t know what to tell us? What happened to good customer service, appreciation and compassion for your customer, especially a bank ? Aside from guarantee bank being one of the worst banks mound city takes the cake!!
