  We have been shopping around for a construction loan and decided to try mountain valley bank. Had to be the worst customer service I have received from any bank. Megan Davis the loan officer was not very professional in my opinion. I called her number at least twice and left a voicemail for her to call me but she never did. She also gave me her cell number where we could text. I text her and asked her to call me because I had questions. Still nothing. A couple days later she messaged me and said my loan was denied. Not even mad about being denied for the loan but the professionalism and customer service from the loan dept is very poor in my opinion. I stopped by today to pick up my papers and Megan would not even look at me. Definitely will not return to this bank for any of my needs.

  I opened a business checking account with this bank earlier this year, and was given a pretty difficult time. They closed the account a day after by sending me a letter with no phone call. So while doing business during the day I had my account shut down which really had an effect on my product flow as well as my honor with certain companies. I understand not being able to continue my account there and don't mind to comply. After going in to ask about all of this someone actually tried explaining the law to me (and they were absolutely daft.) I later found out that they have a specified program for my business but they just could not continue because of a lack of manpower. I understood and left only to find out a few weeks later that one of my new suppliers has their account here and we're in the same business! laughable.
