  Had a horrible experience with this company. Specifically with Huss Fennell. I give him two stars since he was pretty kind and responsive to calls (which is rare nowadays). But, 1 day before closing he told me the mortgage agreement wasn't going to be approved. I'm a first time home buyer and wasn't aware of this, but apparently he should have at least been able to tell me this 3 days prior because the closing disclosure had to be sent to me 3 days before closing legally for this transaction to go through. My agent found a different mortgage broker and I was able to get the loan. My situation was a little different than a normal home loan as it was an investment property. Due to his inexperience in working with investment properties... my closing was delayed another month. I had to start the application process all over again with a new broker and bank. Myrtle Beach is a vacation destination with tons of vacation homes and investment property opportunities... Huss and Movement Mortgage should have been very familiar with this process.

  Worst company ever to do a mortgage with in South Carolina, Horry County. I closed on a loan with them December 2017 and just found out today that I could have had a Horry County Federal Tax credit with the purchase of this home for 2000 dollars credit per year. I fit the guidelines at the time and they never once told me anything about it. SC HOUSING MORTGAGE TAX CREDIT (MCC) They don't look out for buyers and don't know what they are doing. The paperwork to process the loan was so messy and unorganized, unresponsive. I think I lost quite a bit of money due to this BLUNDER...……..EXAMPLE OF SAVINGS First Mortgage $150,000 Interest Rate 4.00% First Years Interest est. $6,000 MCC Rate 50% Federal Liability Reduced By $2,000.00 Maximum Allowed Per Year $2,000.00 Calendar Year Divided By 12 Tax Savings Per Month $166.00
