      My husband and I bought our first house in March 2021 and used Movement Mortgage after our realtor suggested it to us as we needed a very fast closing (just 30 days) and were putting an offer in on a very competitive house. We had originally gotten a pre-approval from a local credit union, so I was apprehensive to use a "big" mortgage company, but on the contrary the whole process felt very local. In fact, they are right in South Burlington and you can meet with them in-person when needed, as we did. Additionally, our local credit union could have never gotten our financing finalized in time for our closing date. Our loan officer Jay did an amazing job answering any questions we had and keeping us 100% updated throughout the process. I also learned that Movement Mortgage services their own loans. If you are looking for a team that is on top of it and doing everything they can to ensure you close on time, I highly suggest you reach out to Jay and his team to inquire. As a cherry on top, they tend to have great rates as well and we even got to participate in a deal where we received a $500 lender credit at closing!
