  Contrary to some previous reviews, my wife and I have had a great experience working with MTH Mortgage. In fact, it's the best experience we've had compared to pre-qualifying with other builders' preferred lenders or getting a pre-approval when we were searching the resale market. MTH's interest rate was comparable to other lenders on the market, and they even worked with us for a conventional mortgage when another builder's lender insisted we could only qualify for an FHA. John Carlisle is a great resource, and his experience shows through whenever we've needed to communicate with him. If you're looking at a Meritage home around Orlando, MTH deserves consideration as your lender.

  I want to give these people some loving haha. I think the only people who took the time to write a review were people who may have not been prepared for buying a home or had a one off experience. My wife and I are first time home buyers and had a great experience! Boy did we have a lot of questions as well, but our lender agent was very helpful. Also, we asked for their advice which I highly recommend. We followed what they said, were quick to get all the documentation they needed, and watched our personal spending like a hawk to not mess anything up. Also, as excited as we were, we were patient haha. Thousands of people are moving to the area ever day and trying to buy homes. From 2020 to now everyone is just busy. No harm done and we appreciate MTH! It was super convenient to be able to do everything online and all parties involved were super helpful. Tehuana was our agent or coordinator (Not sure on the title haha) and I would rate them a 5/5 Stars!

  Don’t get scammed by this company. Amber Tranum is extremely rude. They will not respect you. There is a reason they have less than a 2 star google rating.
