We just finished our closing on a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage [HECM] or better known as a Reverse Mortgage, with Mutual of Omaha. Peter Tourigny was the loan officer who handled our loan from start to finish. One of my major gripes with dealing with companies online is how hard it is to get them to give straight answers and return emails in a timely manner. This was not the case with Peter. I have a hearing impairment and prefer to do all my dealings via email. I must have sent Peter 15 to 20 emails throughout this loan adventure and Peter almost always answered me within an hour or so. I never had to wait days for an answer. Also, Peter never tried to sell me on any one item. He would explain the pros and cons of each loan available and let me decide on the path that best suited my financial needs. I would highly recommend Mutual of Omaha and especially Peter Tourigny.
