  I absolutely love Navy Federal Credit Union. They give you a chance to better yourself and offer so many products, services and help. Great, helpful staff.

  Never can get the ATMs to take money or checks. Tired of the ATM spitting my money back at me.

  Leaving this credit union and never looking back. Quality has consistently and constantly gone down since they moved into the new building. Consistency in their behavior has become erratic. No matter what time I deposit my check on Friday normally it’s all their Saturday. Now they will randomly hold it until Tuesday or Wednesday and tell me that’s it’s “How it works” even though it’s not how it’s worked for years it’s just how it works when they randomly decide that’s what they want to do. Don’t care if you have bills that are due or a child that needs to be fed. They are gonna hold your money. Also recently refused to remove a hold on my account that they were aware was an unauthorized charge and regardless of whether it’s posted or not it shouldn’t be on my account and instead made me wait for days with a negative balance from a big unauthorized charge to see if it posts first. All of this is not how it used to work. We used to be put first. Now we get put on the back burner and have to face the consequences of the way they decide to conduct this operation. They’ll just tell you they can’t change it in their system even though it’s literally THEIR system. Yes they can. Feels like I’m fighting people trying to take my wallet from me any time I deal with these people now. Coming back for a second edit of this as I’m still trying to close my bank accounts and this bank makes it as difficult as possible to do. They have also now adopted a policy to holding your checks for up to FIVE BUSINESS days. So it is now possible to deposit your check Friday evening and not get it until MONDAY TWO WEEKS LATER. The whole time they will return incoming charges while charging you returned check fees. This bank has becoming disgraceful and I don’t understand how the employees sleep at night.
