This is simple the best banking experience in the Syracuse NY area.The ladies at the desk and the branch manager are always willing to help and go the extra mile to make the transactions go smoothly. I wish all banks emulate them. 5 starts all the way.

DO NOT BANK HERE!!! My father is terminally ill and dying of cancer. I brought in POA forms to NBT to close out his final checking account ( which has less than $200 in it) They would not accept the POA forms and actually wanted me to obtain a different version of the forms and have him sign them. He is in a facility DYING and I should drag him of bed and bring him to a notary to have new forms created? I have closed out all of his other accounts and handled business with several other banks with these forms. NBT is the only place to give me any issue. They said otherwise I’d have to wait until he passes and bring the death certificate. So I have to add one more step on top of planning my father’s funeral. Shame on them. I will never recommend them to anyone.
