      My employer has a business acct. and draws there payroll at NBT. I went in to cash my paycheck there, and they charged me a $5 check cashing fee. I asked them, even though my employer draws their payroll from your bank? They said " Yep. Sorry. If YOU dont have an account with us, its $5." So they charged me $5 bucks to cash their OWN check. NBT, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

      Tellers are nice but overall this bank and NBT in particular are just not up to par with others. 10 day holds on large checks, $10 charges on savings withdrawals when you get over a certain amount, and way to many "rules" as they like to say. Do yourself a favor and join a credit union and bypass the headaches of this bank.
