  I was 90% of the way to closing my account based on the ridiculous extra fees, archaic mobile app, grimy ATM I have to put my card in twice to use after I’ve waited 5 minutes, the delayed Drive-thru—it goes on and on but TODAY when I spoke with Debbie—I’m DONE! I would think NBT would be catering to the small customer base they are fortunate to have—not the case at all! When I expressed my concern about her not resolving my simple issue and told her I’m ready to close my account if she can’t help me—she rudely told me to have a nice night and hung up on me. Not the first time I’ve witnessed her less than sub-par interaction with customers but will absolutely be the last!!!! Do not bank here-go to a credit union or back over to Wells Fargo where you aren’t nickel and dimed to do your banking. Dominique Wick

  Be careful of the fine print with mobile deposit they will put a hold of your account for 7 business days and not notify you until a day after the deposit and then customer service will say talk to the bank and the bank will do nothing but charge you fees and give you a poor attitude be careful of this bank!!!!!!
