  Have not had any problems in probably 30 years as a member. Deposit by mail if can't make it in. Speedy loans, good interest rates. Friendly staff.

  I was going to open a checking account here. They run a credit check, and that is fine, but instead of running a standard checking account credit check they run an actual line of credit check. Very different and hits your report differently. It's impossible to speak to the person you need to when you call because they are always busy so even if you wait on hold someone will come back and say they are still busy. Apparently the person available that answered the phone can't help you. Once you start working with someone you always have to talk to them. So everything takes multiple days. Not very efficient for 2022. I also realized their hours after the fact as well. In the end I decided not to open an account here and took a ding to my credit report for no reason. There are much better options with better hours and more employees to be there when you need them. I wouldn't do business here. Edit: One month after initially applying, I got a call from an employee talking about the kind of accounts they have and if I wanted to open one they would have to run a credit check. That's when I cut her off and informed her that I had already applied and had a credit check run which she had no idea what I was talking about. Yet another reason not to do business here.

  Quite un-impressed so far. I asked to open an account, teller didn't bother to ask what kind of account and opened a savings account instead of a checking account. Susre I should have specified, but really she should have asked, also charged me $25 to open it. Went back to open a checking account, and another $25 bucks and a credit check, and a TWO WEEK wait to open an account. I caught the teller write my SSN down wrong misreading her own handwriting mistaking a zero for a six, and then got a call at work about two hours after I left informing me she forgot to have me sign two different things, so now I have to go back tomorrow over my lunch break, (they close at five) to straighten that out. I'd take my money and run, but I think there is a $25 fee for closing an account before 3 months.
