  I had a different outcome from my previous bad experience that has given me a whole new appreciation for Neches. A single loan officer cared enough to reach out to me following a loan request. That interaction is my whole reason for 5 stars. She went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. She gave back the sense of small town banking to the credit union. They better hope to keep such an amazing employee, because she is the whole reason I will be a member for years to come.

  Horrible customer service. I called at 4:59. I understand business hours close at 5:00 but I called just to get an address to send a letter to. My work hours make it difficult to call during the day. It would have been a 30 second phone call. The woman who answered the phone asked how she could help and I told her I just needed the correct address to send a GoodWill Letter to and she interrupted me to say "I can't hear you and you probably can't hear me but regardless we close in half a second anyways," then proceeded to hang up in my face. The call lasted 22 seconds and it was still 4:59 before she hung up on me. Do better. It is not difficult to give people 30 seconds of your time while you're technically still on the clock. I would have been less mad had the employee left off with the "you probably can't hear me" but to say "regardless we close in half a second anyways" was about the rudest thing you could say to long time, loyal customer.

  This is one of the best Credit Unions in the area. Clean lobby, the perfect music playing…it’s a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and greet you with a smile. Oh and the popcorn is a great touch! Would give 6 stars if I could!!
