  Neighbors Bank has been the best choice for mortgage company my family and I made. Our loan officer, Melissa Janke was incredibly diligent and helpful in every step of the way. Our loan file had special circumstances but Neighbors Bank remained flexible and helped us meet their conditions and requirements. We closed on Friday 7.08.2022 thanks to Melissa and Tessa Henderson (Pipe Line Coordinator). They both were very interpersonal and worked hard to get us the mortgage. Again thank you so much Neighbors Bank and I highly recommend this bank for anyone who is planning on buying a house or refinancing.

  The people buying my home used Neighbors Bank and I will tell everyone to steer clear of this firm. I had a rate lock on the home I'm buying which I was using proceeds I needed from my current home sale to use for down-payment and closing costs. Neighbors bank held the buyers in underwriting for over 2 weeks when other banks are 2 to 3 days normally. After it came out of underwriting, we all had closing dates set and were on schedule when Neighbors bank decided to ask the buyers for another document last second before closing which would take 2 to days to clear. This put us off schedule after they already took their time to begin with. It caused my rate lock to expire which I had to pay additional funds to extend it. I didn't even use them and they cost me money. Luckily my home buyers agreed to split the cost of the rate lock extension so the deal wouldn't blow up. I will leave this review up till Neighbors bank helps me recoup mine and my buyers lost fees we had to pay out of pocket due to lack of ability to stay on track.
