Like most borrowers, my refi was transferred to NEWREZ shortly after it was completed. At first, I could not log on to NEWREZ's website and I emailed NEWREZ tech support. I was pleasantly surprised to get a thorough email response within 24 hours which completely resolved my issue. Thus a great review and will update if/when warranted.

Absolutely the worst mortgage company I've ever used. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Had my house reappraised to get rid of PMI and the new appraisal came back with plenty of equity. Newrez denied PMI cancelation, stating that I didn't have at least 20 percent equity... 5 phone calls later, still not fixed. Incompetence at its prime.

Horrible service, simply horrible. In the seven months they have held my loan they have forgotten to pay property tax and then did not pay insurance premium. I called each tome, bouncing from person to person, department to department. Each one of their screw up cost me hours of my time. NewRez is horrible.
