      I negotiated my first mortgage with North Shore Bank more than thirty years ago, when they were located on the Northeast corner of Lake Bluff and Oakland avenue. I received the mortgage and I am still living in the same house. I am retired now and went their new office in Shorewood; I wanted to open a savings account for my grandchildren, According to them, I didn't have proper identification, because my driver's license had expired. Of course, it had expired. I don't drive anymore. Anyway, I was refused the capacity of opening an account. The attending service person had no way of resolving the situation. I was also intending to move large sums to their bank from BMO Harris Bank. Needless to say that won't be happening anytime. NSB's lack of concern, interest and professionalism was a big disappointment to me. But perhaps that is the mode of the day. I had trusted them, and I certainly didn't think it was their way of doing business.
