  Worst bank ever, do not bank here! This is the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with a bank. I am now in the second home that I have owned so I understand how mortgages and banks function. We took out a HELOC with Northpointe because they manage our mortgage, so it should be simple right? WRONG! The process was far more involved than the original loan on our quarter million dollar house, even after we proved to them that we had more than enough to cover the amount we were asking to borrow in our IRA's it was still like jumping through hoops. The bank has a horrible website! In 2021 with Northpointe you still can't do online banking functions with them. I have to physically call every month to make a principal payment on my HELOC, its as if they don't want me to pay it off. You talk to one person in payments dept and they have no idea why you set your account the way you did, and then you explain that the mortgage lending department told you to set the account up the way you did to get a reduced rate, for which the lending agent lied about. Moral of the story, use a different bank.
